Developing our concept and vision for the project

After gathering our research with Gresham College, we started with sketching our basic concepts for what it could look like on Android.

The Challenge

We had to make sure that the Gresham College / Holo design language worked well and complimented its iOS brother application. Working with the Gresham College we managed to create concepts of a level that we all felt comfortable with. We then planned our user journeys, then moved onto wire-framing; formalising the screens that made up the application allowed us to drill down into its finer details.

Our Process

This application, like all of our projects, is about creating an interactive application where sophisticated technology works silently behind the scenes enabling a seamless user experience.
We made use of various open source libraries, including the excellent ActionBarSherlock to create a consistent experience across devices.

One app for all!

The Gresham College Android application was build to work elegantly on devices of all form factors, older small screened mobile devices up to large tablets, whilst maintaining a sense of consistency in features, user experience and look.
